General
  • All Hopkins students have access to the Financial Times (the FT). You should browse the homepage regularly and read articles relevant to the class.
  • Walter Bagehot, Lombard Street: A description of the money market. 1873. A great read, especially the earlier parts.
  • Barton Malkiel, A random walk down Wall Street. 1973. A classic.

Past versions note

This page contains problem sets, quizes, exams, and answer sets from past versions of the course. The course changes substantially year-to-year, so we may not cover some of the particulars emphasized in earlier vintages. In the past, we had 1 midterm and 2 quizes instead of 2 midterms. However, the style/difficulty/content should be reflective of what we will do this term.
